Apprenticeship is a training and application model conducted directly in the workplace, where learners engage in the entire program online combined with competency training from experts. Upon meeting the competency standards set by the European government, candidates are awarded an equivalent Master’s degree.

The Apprenticeship MA in HR program does not follow traditional teaching methods of attending classes and taking exams. Instead, it adopts a competency-based approach, where learners demonstrate their ability to apply knowledge directly to their work under the guidance of local training experts.

Upon achieving the full competency framework established by the European government, candidates are recognized at level 7 (Master Level) and are awarded both an MBA from VERN’ University Croatia and a Master of Human Resources Management and Talent Development from SIMI Institute Switzerland.

The program is implemented in collaboration with VERN’ Croatia University and Université Libérale de Paris. Both institutions are reputable and have achieved accreditation and recognition:

The Master of Human Resources Management and Talent Development (MA in HR) program is a dual-degree program. Upon graduation, students receive:

  1. Master of Business Administration (MBA) from VERN’ University Croatia.
  2. Master of Talent Development and Human Resources Management from Université Libérale de Paris.
85% Fee Subsidy.

The program is subsidized by 85% compared to the dual-degree program in Europe and is only applicable to candidates with Vietnamese nationality. Foreign candidates in Vietnam are not eligible for this policy.

Competency training by experts.

The Apprenticeship program applies the exclusive S.T.E.P model with a competency framework issued by the European government. With this model, students will learn online with lectures and videos from foreign instructors and demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge to their actual job positions.

To guide and accompany students in applying their skills, they receive competency training from local experts.

The addition of local training experts ensures that students not only maintain the academic knowledge acquired through online lectures but also ensure the practical application of skills in their workplace.

Networking abroad is fully subsidized, covering 100% of the expenses.

The postgraduate program for working professionals, alongside acquiring knowledge, emphasizes the importance of expanding relationships within the Apprenticeship model.

Participants in the Apprenticeship program receive 100% support for expenses when joining the networking program in Southeast Asia, including:

  • 100% support for round-trip airfare with accompanying insurance.
  • Assistance with transportation from the airport to accommodation and vice versa.
  • 100% support for accommodation near the campus of the partner university in Asia, based on double occupancy in separate rooms.
  • Daytime sightseeing, travel, and networking program.
  • Networking dinner, facilitating interactions among participants, instructors, and partner universities in Asia and LAS.

Self Study: Learning with Videos and Lectures.

Self-paced learning for apprentices with lectures and videos following the UK National Apprenticeship Capacity Framework. The subjects include:

  • Contemporary HRM
  • Leading, managing and HR development
  • Resourcing, talent management and development
  • Performance management
  • Employee relations
  • Investigating a business issue from an HR perspective

After completing the required competencies, candidates will be recognized for their achievements and awarded credits:

Training - Capability Development by Experts.

Students receive additional competency training from local sources for each subject.

Competency training helps students gain a better understanding of lecture content and learn how to apply these skills in their own workplace.

Evidences - Applied Evidence

After each module, students write a work journal comparing what they have learned with the tasks they are currently managing.

During the process of writing the work journal, students are guided to gather evidence to demonstrate their ability to apply knowledge to their job.

Capstone Projects

Apprenticeship MBA students are guided in developing their graduation applied projects.

Senior People Professional Expert Certification (Option)

The dual-degree Apprenticeship MA in HR program is recognized for competency according to the Senior People Professional occupational standards in the United Kingdom.

Senior Leader is the highest managerial position in the United Kingdom, reserved for candidates who have earned a Master’s degree and must demonstrate the ability to apply high-level management standards according to the Senior Leader standards in the UK.

Upon completion of the dual-degree Apprenticeship MA in HR program, candidates can apply for Senior People Professional Certification without the need for annual assessment.

  • Apprenticeship is not traditional education; the program combines training, application, and competency assessment. It is not a study-abroad program, nor a full-time study program. Apprenticeship participants are only recognized upon demonstrating competency according to the professional competency framework specified for each position and degree.
  • Local training programs do not provide Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees; instead, they focus on developing competencies to meet the competency framework, which is then converted and recognized as a degree.
